Dear AU-Ex Creator!

Some of this is taken directly from previous letters because my likes/wants really don't change all that much! Apologies for any repetition.

Please bear in mind that for this exchange I'm really hoping that the AU prompts will stand alone and I'm really excited to see what you might come up with for them - everything below is just general likes/dislikes followed by "what I like about this canon" and maybe a bit of "what I like about this ship". If you need any more info from me, well, I wouldn't normally say this but I'm a mod in this exchange so just send me a quick direct message. ;)

Aside from my DNWs (which aren't exactly extensive), go ahead and pick and choose through anything/everything below. I'm pretty easy to please so if you want to read the DNWs, skip the rest and write the fic of your heart (or indeed draw the art of your heart!) in whatever fandom we matched on, that's totally fine by me.

Note: I'm completely happy with any rating ranging from the mildest G right up to the most explicit of explicit (for fic or for art). Also, length of prompts below doesn't indicate that I want one fandom more than another - I just have more words for some and more incoherent squee for others. ;)

Fanart: All my requests are for fic or art, and I should probably make it clear that I'm 100% happy with either! But I'm terrible at giving art-specific prompts (I'm trying to improve!) so really, if we match on art and nothing from the prompts below grabs you then I'm totally fine with just my requested character(s) appearing on the same page.

Kissing is good, sparring/physical activity is good, something reminiscent of a canon scene is good... also happy with something porny or dark. I love contrasting colours, bold lines, little details like jewellery or specific clothes people wore in canon, I like fingers twined together (or in hair), or anything from my list of likes below!

100% DNWs:
  • children/pregnancy (not even vague mentions of pregnancy at all, please, including mpreg and oviposition, and no children as main characters - I'm happy to read a bit about the characters themselves as kids in the past, but I'd prefer everyone involved be adults at the time the fic takes place)
  • D/s lifestyle (casual D/s without minute negotiation, or totally unnegotiated dubcon iffiness, are both A-OK!)
  • humiliation (as a kink or otherwise)
  • scat/watersports/emetophilia
  • A/B/O
  • ageplay/infantilisation
  • any mention of spiders/tarantulas or similar - other creepy-crawlies are fine

Things I'm not fond of:
  • character death, if followed only by someone else's unending woeful angst (death in general is fine, feel free to kill whichever characters you like)
  • threesomes/moresomes/poly, unless requested
  • pure fluff/curtainfic - happy is wonderful, holding hands while skipping through meadows not so much! (unless you're going for crackfic, in which case totally fine!)

Basically, as long as it's not in my DNWs, absolutely go for it - I mean that 100%. Zombie apocalypse? Really kinky porn? Gore? Random crack? Badfic on purpose? Wacky AUs? All fine, and more! But, if you want ideas about what I like:

General likes:
  • time loops
  • Pacific Rim fusions
  • snarky, sarcastic or tongue-in-cheek humour
  • banter
  • characters getting older; ageing
  • characters knowing each other really well (whether as friends or enemies)
  • futurefic/post-canon
  • competence, whether physical or intellectual (or both)
  • action scenes; gruelling training; battles; fights (fistfights and with weapons)
  • characters being forced to fight/kill (Hunger Games, Mortal Kombat, that kind of thing)
  • seemingly insignificant details that turn out to be super-important/significant
  • worldbuilding
  • ridiculous crossovers (or indeed sensible ones)

For shipfic (in addition to the above):
  • friends to lovers; enemies to lovers; enemies to friends to lovers
  • characters who know each other really well (or get to know each other really well) and show it without meaning to or really trying to
  • people not saying 'I love you' but clearly meaning/demonstrating it anyway (that's not to say I totally DNW people saying 'I love you', btw - for some characters it works!)
  • tough characters making themselves realistically vulnerable
  • differences and contrasts in age/height/etc. (especially when the smaller/younger one isn't actually small/young, only in comparison to the other character)
  • one character being physically stronger than the other (especially if the weaker one isn't weak, only weaker in comparison); manhandling
  • happy (or at least hopeful) endings
  • getting together
  • first time (first time together, or getting back together after years apart)
  • competence kink
  • loyalty kink; trust kink
  • jealousy/possessiveness/co-dependency/protectiveness
  • admiration (physical and/or intellectual)
  • me-and-you-against-the-world
  • identity porn (roleplaying; undercover; secret identities; amnesia)
  • characters wearing each other's clothes
  • fake dating or undercover turning into something more
  • everyone thinks they're dating (but they're not, except maybe then they are)
  • dating but they don't realise (or one of them doesn't but the other does, for cultural/obliviousness reasons)

Explicit/kinky fic:
  • fight sex, or sparring/arguing turning into more
  • rough sex in general, and rough sex that turns slower and/or more intense from one time to the next
  • knifeplay, gunplay, weaponplay in general
  • breathplay/choking (preferably with hands)
  • bloodplay (preferably involving knives)
  • semi-clothed sex; clothed/naked; how awkward clothing (or armour, etc.) is removed
  • sex in showers
  • one character shaving a (male) character's face (preferably with a cutthroat razor but I'll adore anything!)
  • one character writing on another's skin; marking with cuts or bruises
  • stories behind scars/bruises/tattoos (and touching/kissing them, or reopening/reinjuring them)
  • characters kinking on differences in age/height/strength
  • sexual fantasies
  • voice/accent kink; phone sex; sexual situations where one character can hear the other one but not see them (e.g. in total darkness)
  • switching - I have absolutely no strict top/bottom roles in mind (and switching mid-scene is also great)
  • for m/m, first time topping/bottoming/with a guy
  • desperation; characters knowing they shouldn't but not being able to help themselves
  • characters who think they're just having casual sex ending up unexpectedly desperately in love, whether they like it or not
  • hard, desperate kissing; fingers in hair

If you fancy writing me a crossover, whether sensible or completely cracky, I'd totally encourage you to go ahead and do it. :D In terms of fandoms: if I've requested it for an exchange (my master list of exchange letters and fandoms I've requested is here) or I've written it (my AO3 page is here, you can safely assume it's fine to write for me!

Darker fic:
I enjoy darkfic and dark art so as long as it's not in my DNWs, go for it. Torture porn, ghost stories, scary magic, religious weirdness, twisted mindfuckery, non-con, gaslighting, serious body horror, all absolutely A-OK. Feel free to use bad/offensive/dirty language if it fits the fic, as much swearing as you like, etc. I'll read just about anything, including xeno, vore, serial killer AUs, whatever tickles your fancy. Basically: excepting my DNWs, feel free to try to weird me out!

All prompts below are just ideas - absolutely feel free to go in whatever direction you like!

Request-specific info:

Battlestar Galactica:

--- Requested Character/Ship(s): Kara Thrace/Leoben Conoy

AU: Kara and Leoben meet before the war (BSG)
AU: Never left New Caprica (BSG)
AU: Reincarnation (BSG)
AU: Kara's dad was a Cylon (BSG)
AU: Kara is a Cylon (BSG)

I really enjoyed this entire canon, up to and including the finale (though I know the end's really not popular in certain circles!). My only regret is Starbuck doesn't actually make it, really.

I'm a big fan of IN SPACE! canons in general, and this really isn't an exception. I love the scale of it, the vastness of space and the jumps they perform to get to Earth, how it's not easy at all and they're all struggling to stay alive (and the terrible choices some of them make), and the mystery surrounding the Cylons.

Starbuck is basically my favourite character, flaws and all. I love how physically tough she is, but she's obviously got some pretty vast issues with her past that meddle in her present (totally fine with alcoholism playing a part if that's where it leads you, in case that helps). I'm absolutely all for exploring her past if you like, or going full-on post-canon and maybe she makes some peace with it all that doesn't involve her snuffing it at the end.

I really enjoyed the terrible, terrible New Caprica storyline with Kara being basically kidnapped and held captive by Leoben. This is mostly because I love Kara and Leoben's bizarre dynamic throughout, though - Leoben is not a particularly nice guy but he has beliefs and he's obviously attached to Kara, whatever that actually means to him.

Incidentally, if you do go with New Caprica, I'm totally fine with Kacey making an appearance (contrary to my DNW for children, pregancy, etc.), but I'd prefer the whole thing not be about her.

I'm up for basically whatever with this canon - it's already pretty dark but feel free to make it however much darker or lighter you like (I'm thinking them meeting pre-canon could be moderately light, if you wanted to go that way, and New Caprica could be woefully full of Stockholm/Lima Syndrome and/or Kara just killing Leoben over and over and over).

Also happy with mentions of Kara's relationships with Anders and Apollo, so don't feel like you need to keep away from that, and there are really no characters in BSG that I can't stand so if you need someone for plot or just for window-dressing, drag them in!

Black Sails:

--- Requested Character/Ship: Captain Flint/Thomas Hamilton

AU: Thomas meets the Pirate King of Nassau (Black Sails)
AU: they rescue Thomas from the asylum first (Black Sails)
AU: in which they take over the world (Black Sails)
AU: Flint succeeds in starting a revolution and defeating Britain now what (Black Sails)
AU: Black Sails IN SPACE (Black Sails)

I marathoned the first two seasons of this show in about three days and discovered it's just so many, many things that I love. It's pirates and tall ships and gritty, dirty, bloody, strong characters with vast moral ambiguities, great dialogue, and fun, twisty plots.

I'm also a little bit in love with the costumes, the locations, the fact nothing's sugar-coated, the horrible things that Flint's willing to do to achieve his goals, Flint's facial hair (in any incarnation!) and his shaved head or his daft little ponytail...basically Flint in general (he's 100% my favourite in this) and his relationship with Thomas.

The three characters I'm not super keen on are Max, Miranda and John Silver so I'd prefer they didn't turn up in a huge, starring role - supporting parts are obviously fine. Everyone else is great, and I'm more than happy with random past Flint/OMCs, Flint/Vane, Flint/pretty-much-anyone-but-Miranda in whatever you write. I'd just prefer Miranda not play a massive part, please, if at all possible. I understand she's important to both Flint and Thomas's stories, but I'd prefer she either have a minor part or an "oh dear, she's dead" part in this, please and thank you!

In addition to the total "In Space!" AU, any degree of divergence is A-OK by me- to the point of Flint arriving in Nassau at a much later date having gone elsewhere first, Teach coming back to Nassau earlier so season 3 onwards didn't happen the way it did at all, other major character death, etc.), and I'm more than happy with the action to take place on any of the ships, in Nassau, in London, in any of the other in-show locations, etc.

I'm all caught up on the show right up to and including the end, so don't worry about spoilers!

The Chronicles of Riddick Series:

--- Requested Character/Ship: Dame Vaako; Richard B. Riddick/Vaako; Richard B. Riddick/Vaako/Dame Vaako

AU: Vaako kills Zhylaw instead of Riddick (Riddick Series)
AU: Vaako is cast out of the fleet and meets Riddick elsewhere (Riddick Series)
AU: Krone strands Vaako on Not-Furya with Riddick (Riddick Series)
AU: Dame Vaako kills Zhylaw instead of Riddick (Riddick Series)

Oh look, it's another "in space" fandom! But it's also a survival horror sort of canon and I'm 100% happy with whichever way you might take it - the more survivalish themes of Pitch Black and Riddick or the more space operaish Chronicles. I'm happy with Necromongers and the Underverse and twisty politics if you want to go that way, or just stick with the hack-n-slash - I love the whole thing from start to end.

Feel free to reference any of the films (including Dark Fury), or the video games if you've played them, or indeed go ahead and set it post-canon. I prefer the version of Chronicles where Riddick doesn't have a shiny hand on his chest and the Rage of Furya, but I'm willing to go with that if you can sell it to me! ;) And I do enjoy the version of the Riddick ending where Riddick goes back to the Necromonger fleet and finds Vaako's been to the Underverse, if that's remotely helpful given the AUs I've chosen above.

Also: I basically ship Riddick with anyone/everyone here, to be honest, so if you wanted to include hints of literally any other ship in the fandom then go ahead. And I quite like Dame Vaako so I'd prefer she not be the bad guy (unless she really is the bad guy and not just the irritating, shrill sort of bad guy that women seem to end up playing so often :( ).

Feel free to go as dark and twisted as you like, or equally try to make this canon fluffy if you can! Toss Vaako into the plot of Pitch Black if you like. Have them meet in a slam somewhere and have to break out together. What would it be like if Vaako - or Dame Vaako - had been the one to kill Zhylaw; where would that have left Riddick?

--- Requested Character/Ship: Whiskey/Alpha; Echo/Alpha; Boyd Langton/Claire Saunders; Boyd Langton & Echo; Caroline Farrell/Bennett Halverson; Adelle DeWitt/Laurence Dominic

AU: Events of Epitaph 1&2 are an Attic nightmare (Dollhouse)
AU: Alpha doesn't leave in Epitaph 2 (Dollhouse)
AU: Boyd isn't the head of Rossum (Dollhouse)
AU: Rossum puts everyone in the Attic (Dollhouse)
AU: Dominic isn't caught as the spy (Dollhouse)
AU: Dominic is sent on missions imprinted in a doll's body (Dollhouse)
AU: Bennett isn't killed (Dollhouse)
AU: Bennett isn't injured/left behind while bombing Rossum (Dollhouse)
AU: Adelle is an imprint (Dollhouse)

Dollhoooouse! This might just be my favourite thing Joss Whedon's done, and though I'd occasionally like to fling things in his direction, I've liked basically everything he's done.

For this canon I think my AU requests really stand for themselves, but basically what I love about this show is the themes of identity and technology and how those intertwine, the implications for the future, but also the here-and-now aspect of Paul's investigation into the Dollhouse and the dolls all going about their usual business (be that romance engagements or the running-jumping-climbing-trees they sometimes get up to.

I'm totally happy for this to go horribly dark if you like. I'm likewise happy for it to be relatively light, or for it to have aspects of foreboding and foreshadowing of what we know happens in canon. I've read the comics, too, if that's helpful and you want to pull anything in from that.

And I pretty much love everyone in this show! I'm interested in Whiskey/Alpha pre-Echo, I'm interested in Whiskey/Alpha post-show, Alpha/Echo at any point is wonderful (including post-show if he'd stayed around), I like the identity issues of Boyd/Claire (whether Boyd's the head of Rossum or not, there are issues with Claire at least!), there are huge possibilities for Caroline/Bennett (or Echo/Bennett) pre- or post-canon (assuming she didn't die or maybe she'd taken a scan of herself), and Adelle/Dominic is just such a bad idea it's great. :D And I do love the rapport that Echo and Boyd build up, though it's sort of ruined by the end.

I'm absolutely up for anyone else appearing in this if you like, and for any sort of engagements happening, or the idea that everything from the Epitaph episodes is someone's Attic nightmare (though exactly whose it is would be entirely up to you - maybe all of them!).

James Bond (Movies):

--- Requested Character/Ship: James Bond/Alec Trevelyan

AU: Trevelyan didn't die at the end of GoldenEye (Bond Movies)
AU: Soulmates (Bond Movies)
AU: Trevelyan never found out about his parents (Bond Movies)
AU: Trevelyan found out about his parents later (Bond Movies)
AU: Bond left MI6 with Trevelyan (Bond Movies)

This is one of those fandoms that I just adore and a pairing that will probably be in the back of my mind pretty much forever.

I do specifically want GoldenEye fic and not Craig-era Bond here. My Bond is always Pierce Brosnan and I'm definitely picturing Sean Bean as Alec. Also happy with any/all of the supporting cast - I love Judi Dench as M in particular, but Xenia's also fun, as is Valentin. Not super keen on tons of Boris or Natalya.

What I like about the Brosnan Bond films is they're not as silly as the Roger Moore films that went before and they're not as, well, Timothy Dalton, as the Timothy Dalton films. They're proper action films with guns and slick cars and explosions and Bond running around with his PPK in a pretty suit or combats and looking just as good in either, but they still don't take themselves too seriously.

I also like that Bond is an efficient and fairly remorseless killer, I like his death-defying stunts, I like his odd relationship with M, I like his flirting with Moneypenny and I like Bond in Navy uniform, Bond flying planes/driving cars/riding motorcycles, the Q branch gadgets, and the friendship and super-competent shooty-fighty working partnership he has with Alec before Alec's shuffled off to be Janus. How did they get to that point, knowing each other so well? Did they come up together as double-ohs? Did they work together often?

I'd be happy with a general fix-it AU here (because damnit, Sean Bean, why do you always die?), or with a sort of dodgy Bond-actually-does-go-with-Trevelyan AU (how would that actually work?), or basically anything you can make work so Alec doesn't die hating James (which is not to say he's not allowed to die - if that's where it takes you, feel free)!

Also: tropey fic is good - undercover as a couple, soulmates, etc. Soulmate AU for these two, considering the identity issues involved, would be amazing. :D

The Mummy Series:

--- Requested Character/Ship: Ardeth Bay/Rick O'Connell; Imhotep/Anck Su Namun; Anck Su Namun; Evy Carnahan O'Connell/Rick O'Connell/Ardeth Bay

AU: Imhotep wins (Mummy series)
AU: Imhotep succeeds in bringing Anck Su Namun back to life before they're caught (Mummy series)
AU: Ardeth is the one who gets Rick out of jail (Mummy series)
AU: Anck Su Namun is the Mummy (Mummy series)

These films are just so much fun. Like, so much fun. It's so many things I love all rolled into one - Ancient Egypt, a vaguely historical setting, random magic and supernatural creatures, action, costumes, humour, Rachel Weisz...

I have a degree in Egyptology but I have absolutely zero attachment to seeing Ancient Egypt "accurately" portrayed at all, or even accurate portrayal of movie-contemporary attitudes toward it. Basically: if you want to go for accuracy then feel free, I know enough to spot that, but likewise feel absolutely, completely, utterly free to play fast and loose with history (the films do, let's face it, to marvellous effect!) and essentially just make stuff up - I promise you I'll love it!

One thing I'd say, though, is Evy is definitely Rachel Weisz for me and I'd very much like to pretend the third film just didn't happen. At all.

For Evy: I like that she's independent and intelligent and willing to throw herself into action (and doesn't require all that much saving, at least no more than the male characters do). I like that sometimes she doesn't think before she acts and that gets her into trouble. I like that she has a specialism and is pretty darn knowledgable about it. I also like that she's apparently the reincarnation of Princess Nefertiti (and I like that fight with Anck-su-namun!).

For Anck-Su-Namun: I'd be interested in what would have happened if she'd actually been the mummy instead of Imhotep. How might that have changed things? Would she have tried to resurrect Imhotep? Would she have known enough to do it? Would she have known who Evy was in a past life immediately? And if Imhotep was still the mummy and he actually did manage to bring Anck-Su-Namun back - what would have happened, exactly? How would that have affected the movies' other characters, and the rest of the world?

Aaaand, Ardeth, who is amazing. I love Ardeth with Rick. I love Ardeth with Rick and Evy. I love his commitment to duty, and the fact that Rick is supposedly medjai, like he is - what would that actually mean in practical terms? I'm interested in whether they all knew each other in a past life, and what might have happened if Ardeth had been the one to break Rick out instead of Evy - why might he have done it? What would that have changed?

If you go for Ardeth/Rick/Evy, I'm totally fine with it being an occasional or permanent arrangement (but I'd like them all to be involved equally rather than it being a V around Evy); if you go for Ardeth/Rick, I'm totally fine with Rick being married to Evy and her being okay with it, either Rick and Evy having divorced, with them never having got together...but I'd prefer no outright cheating, if possible.

Spartacus Series (TV):

--- Requested Character/Ship: Gaia/Lucretia

AU: No Sapphic Characters Die (Spartacus)
AU: Lucretia Marries Gaia Instead (Spartacus)
AU: Female Gladiators (Spartacus)

Man, this show. I love Roman history and I love the whole gladiatorial thing this has going on!

What I like about this series is the setting (it is so aesthetically pleasing, and the fact it's vaguely historical is great), and the scheming and the ludus and the various bizarre senses of loyalty. The costumes and sets are great - I'm also fond of the leather armour and the weaponry and dirt and blood and general awfulness of the ludus juxtaposed with the more luxurious life in the villa (especially when it's looking better after the rain and it's not basically one step from poverty). I love the pseudo-Roman languagey bits, and the over-the-top violence. Aaand the fact that it's packed full of random nudity and Lucy Lawless doesn't hurt, of course. ;)

I'm perfectly happy to read about/see any other characters you might want to include, but my other favourites are Crixus, Gannicus, Spartacus, Oenomaus, Melitta, Licinia and Ilithyia. If you could avoid Ashur as a main character, that would make me very happy.

Lucretia and Gaia are basically one of the things I loved most about Gods of the Arena and I hated, hated that they killed her off (though I guess it kind of had to happen for the rest of the show to go on the way it did. But! I'd be very, very interested in a version Rome where women marrying women was actually accepted and so Gaia totally didn't have to die (maybe she came back from Rome to Capua, she met Lucretia and they rode off into the sunset complete with glorious clothes and jewellery, or maybe they somehow end up running the ludus together - Titus and Batiatus die? Gaia has enough money to buy the place and Lucretia divorces Batiatus?). Or maybe a complete AU where they're actually both gladiators, or they run a ludus filled with female gladiators - that would be amazing.

Basically, I just want Gaia to live and the two of them to be awesome together, however you can make that happen.

Star Trek - Original Timeline:

--- Requested Character/Ship: Ezri Dax/Lenara Kahn; Good Kirk/Bad Kirk; Jadzia Dax/Ezri; Jadzia Dax/Lenara Kahn; Jadzia Dax/Leonard McCoy; Julian Bashir/Miles O'Brien; William Riker & Q; William Riker; James T. Kirk/Spock

AU: Characters swap jobs (Original Timeline)
AU: Ezri Dax meets Jadzia Dax via temporal shenanigans (Original Timeline)
AU: Ezri is joined with Kahn instead of Dax (Original Timeline)
AU: Ezri isn't joined but is on DS9 anyway (Original Timeline)
AU: Jadzia lived (Original Timeline)
AU: Kirk isn't reintegrated after the transporter accident (Original Timeline)
AU: Lenara Stays on DS9 (Star Trek Original Timeline)
AU: No Dominion War (Star Trek Original Timeline)
AU: Riker actually joined the Q Continuum (Original Timeline)
AU: Stuck in TOS era after Trials and Tribble-ations (Original Timeline)
AU: Kirk survives Generations (Original Timeline)
AU: Soulmate with species differences in bonds/marks (Star Trek Original Timeline)

I basically love all Star Treks. DS9 has my favourite overarching plot, but TNG has some of my favourite episodes and TOS has some of my favourite characters - I honestly don't how I'd choose between them!

For DS9: I know a lot of people have criticised its season-long arcs taking precedence over the more traditional Trek feel of single standalone episodes, its interesting takes on religion, the whole Dominion War thing...but actually, I like all these things about it!

Basically: I like the sort of weirdly epic scale that encompasses the Prophets and Sisko's link to Bajor and the Dominion War. I like the smaller-scale stuff with life on the station, how the different cultures interact (like eating gagh in the Klingon restaurant on the promenade, and Quark's bar, and the Bajoran staff working with O'Brien, Kira as 2IC, Nog being the first Ferengi in Starfleet, and all the co-op between the Federation and the Klingons and the Romulans during the war). I like the more traditional self-contained episodes, and the Bond-alike holosuite adventures of Julian Bashir.

My choices here are mostly Trill-related because I'm totally fascinated with the whole joining thing, and the culture around it, and Jadzia-Lenara-Ezri. And then there's Julian and Miles who are the cutest friends ever, and I would love them to wind up something more (or keep it gen between them if you like - I didn't request the & ship but I'm happy with it!). Also feel free to write Jadzia/Worf instead of the Trill ships if you prefer that direction.

For TNG: I love TNG pretty much in its entirety. I love the epicness of their mission (c'mon, they're seeking out new life!), I love the weird and wonderful worlds they end up on with their different cultures and that it's practically a new one every episode. I love the weird science and the Enterprise set and the procession of different Enterprises, I love saucer separation (it just looks cool!) and the idea that Riker really wants to have the Enterprise so much he's willing to forego commands of his own for it.

I also love the non-human characters just as much as the humans...particularly Klingons and Cardassians. There are very few characters I don't like, actually - I'm not a huge fan of Dr. Pulaski or Wesley Crusher, but that's basically it - and indeed there are also very few episodes I don't like. However, my favourite characters are Riker, Worf, Picard, Q and Dr. Crusher and I'm just as much a fan of the darker episodes as the lighter ones, so things like Schisms or Frame of Mind or Picard kidnapped by Gul Madred (or the Borg), or conversely a Dixon Hill or Sherlock Holmes holodeck episode, or one of Q's flights of fancy. Do feel free to go as horribly dark or as silly and light as you like - I'd absolutely enjoy either!

My requests here are basically Riker - Riker & Q or Riker on his own. I just love his love for the Enterprise and his sort of Kirk-like cowboyishness that crops up now and then, and the idea of what it would've been like if he'd actually joined the Q Continuum. How might he have affected things? Why might he have done it? How might it have changed him? Totally happy to see Will/Deanna, Will/Worf, or anything to do with Thomas.

For TOS: It's pretty hard to define what exactly it is that I like about TOS, really, but Kirk has a large part in that. I love all the times he ends up with a torn shirt and light strategically streaked across his eyes. By Picard standards, he's also not exactly the best captain in Starfleet history - he's a bit of a cowboy, a risk-taker, cares about his mission of exploration...and then there's Spock, who is a whole lot of things that Kirk isn't (and a lot of things that he is, too). I love the futuristic retro, and the uniforms, and the later films, and Kirk's angst and Spock's dramatic storylines.

My TOS ships are a bit weird here - they're Kirk/Spock, Good Kirk/Bad Kirk from The Enemy Within, and the sort of crossover ship of Jadzia Dax/McCoy. I love them all! There could not be enough Kirk/Spock in the world for me (though this is specifically TOS and not AOS! And I'm toooootally fine with Kirk meeting Spock after Generations should he have lived, and what that might have entailed), and I love the idea of Jadzia ending up hooking up with McCoy if the DS9 guys hadn't managed to make it back to their time. How might that have changed things? And, of course, there's the "they didn't manage to reintegrate Kirk after the transporter accident" thing - how might that have worked? Would they have been able to stay in Starfleet? What else might they have done?

Star Wars - Canon:

--- Requested Character/Ship: Galen Erso/Orson Krennic; Obi-Wan Kenobi/Darth Maul; Padmé Amidala/Obi-Wan Kenobi; Chirrut Îmwe/Baze Malbus; Poe Dameron/Finn; Leia Organa; Rogue One - Team

AU: Galen doesn't die on Eadu (Star Wars - Canon)
AU: Galen convinces Krennic to defect (Star Wars - Canon)
AU: Obi-Wan kills Anakin (Star Wars - Canon)
AU: Finn is a stolen prince from a Wakanda-like planet (Star Wars - Canon)
AU: Leia did become a Jedi and goes after the New Order herself (Star Wars - Canon)
AU: Padmé Survives to Lead the Resistance (Star Wars - Canon)
AU: Leia Trains As A Jedi Post Episode VI (Star Wars - Canon)
AU: Everybody Lives Nobody Dies (Star Wars - Canon)
AU: some of them live (Star Wars - Canon)
AU: Rogue One characters survive their mission (Star Wars - Canon)
AU: Darth Maul joins the Rebellion to get revenge on Sidious (Star Wars - Canon)
AU: Buddy cop police officers in Coruscant (Star Wars - Canon)
AU: Jedi Leia (Star Wars - Canon)

Okay, I love Star Wars. I remember watching the original trilogy on video as a kid many years ago, and being totally enamoured of the universe it happens in. I loved Leia. I loved the robots and the lightsabers and Ben Kenobi and the big set pieces and the humour and the costumes. I loved Leia's hair and the fact she's not a doormat of a princess! The original trilogy (and its characters) is definitely my favourite part, though I do enjoy the other films. I've also read a huge number of the books that are now Legends, if you want to reference any of that, but it's totally not necessary.

These prompts pretty much speak for themselves, I think, but a quick note: I'm happy with gen, I'm happy with slash or het or femslash, I'm happy with happy or dark or sad, fix-its, whatever you like. I'm really just interested in your take on any of these AU ideas and how they would affect the characters involved - what would Leia be like as a Jedi instead of a General (or as well as a General)? What might have happened if Galen Erso hadn't died on Eadu (would he have stopped Krennic? How?)? What would happen with the Rogue One guys or Han or Obi-Wan or anyone else for that matter if they didn't die? How would Padmé have been as a resistance leader (and would that be because Obi-Wan killed Anakin?)?. How about some of these characters as cops - I'm thinking Baze and Chirrut, Han and Chewie, but anyone you like, you can totally sell me on Buddy Cops on Coruscant or whatever you like!

Basically: go wild. I just want to see where you might take these prompts, and the stories that might come from them - I love these characters so much that I just want more about them.

X-Men/Deadpool Movie Franchise:

--- Requested Character/Ship: Logan/Scott Summers (Original Timeline)

AU: Soulmates (Original Timeline)
AU: Wild West with fantasy elements (X-Men/Deadpool)
AU: Scott was never involved with Jean romantically (Original Timeline)
AU: Scott still alive in bad timeline (Original Timeline)
AU: Professor X and Scott survive X3 (Original Timeline)
AU: Power Swap (Original Timeline)
AU: Jean stays dead after X2 and the Phoenix never appears (Original Timeline)

Yep, these are all basically vehicles for getting Logan and Scott together. So, I'm just going to give you Logan/Scott stuff here.

I'm thinking mostly of the original timeline movies here because that's what I have the most prompts for and I enjoyed James Marsden as Scott, but if you have an alternate timeline idea then absolutely feel free to go for that - I enjoy those movies, too. basically, I'm up for pretty much any version of Logan/Scott (including comics or the X-Men cartoon) if the mood strikes you.

In terms of the canon, I love the whole mutation thing in general, and I love the strangely not-quite-contemporary tech, and the fact that Logan's basically this holdout from a past age who likes to get into fights and pretty much doesn't give a damn what people think of him (and is gruff and non-communicative compared to Scott being oh-so-very modern). I like Scott having a strong sense of duty and responsibility and being slightly preppy but with a very nearly closet-rebel edge to him. I prefer no or very little crossover with the MCU here, if possible (though obviously mentioning MCU characters' existence is fine, I just prefer they not be main characters).

I love that these two are so competitive with each other, so irritated by each other, so different from each other, and yet they do have common ground between them that's not just Jean. I like that they're both tenacious and strong and willing to do what's right (even if Logan might need a bit of persuasion now and then), and that they're apparently able to work together despite that. But mostly I like the antagonism and how that could so easily spill over into something else! Especially considering Logan's claws and his healing factor. I'm also a fan of their leather uniforms, if that's remotely helpful!

If you're down with hatesex (or something that just starts out that way), I'm totally happy to see that. If you're interested in a kind of grudging he's-the-only-one-who-understands thing after Jean's death, totally happy with that, too, and with them (accidentally or entirely knowingly) developing a relationship once Jean is dead or with canon divergence where Scott and Jean have split up pre-X1. I'm 100% fine with a PWP if you want to go that way (but smut totally isn't necessary if it's not your thing). I like the idea of sparring ending up in something else (be that sex or just the notion that maybe they're attracted to each other, or maybe they're aroused by it against their better judgement?).

I like the idea of them working together, just the two of them, and either something like fighting ending up in post-mission sex, or the mission going awry and them ending up stuck together, or h/c (fine with Scott being the hurt party, of course, but if you can finagle it so Logan's actually hurt for more than a couple of minutes then feel free to go for that, too!). A day in the life of Scott and Logan at the school would also work, or go totally tropey if you like - time loops, or sex pollen/fuck or die, or bodyswap, or undercover as a couple, everyone thinks they're dating, that kind of thing, always works for me.
